Buddy’s Run
A small game about gliding on paper planes, hopping logs and catching acorns on the way down. He is new to your phone. Help him find his feet.
Buddy: Your AI Friend
Buddy is a small purple creature living in a burrow behind your home screen. He keeps your notes and reminders, remembers the things you mention in passing, and tells you his story a chapter at a time.
Chapter one
Buddy grew up in the middle of a forest and was good at exactly one thing: making safe places. Rabbits, mice, chipmunks — if you needed somewhere warm to sleep, you went to Buddy.
The storybook has more chapters, but he only shares them with people he trusts. So you will have to talk to him.
A squirrel, a rabbit, a hedgehog, a duck, a tortoise and a frog. Some of them turn up in Buddy’s Run. One of them is definitely stealing his acorns.
The full cast, more or less
A small game about gliding on paper planes, hopping logs and catching acorns on the way down. He is new to your phone. Help him find his feet.
Talk or type. Buddy keeps track of what matters and nudges you at the right moment. He also remembers the small stuff, which is either sweet or slightly unsettling.
After a long conversation he curls up and goes quiet for a while. When he wakes up, he still remembers what you talked about.

Who makes this
I’m an independent artist and developer. I make short films, animation, and small apps like Buddy — mostly for free, mostly late at night, mostly because I wanted them to exist.
If Buddy makes your day a little warmer, you can buy me a coffee. That’s the whole business model.
— JosephBuddy: Your AI Friend arrives on the App Store on November 4. Free, no account, no subscription. Until then, there’s a lamp on in the burrow.
